Problem with "L" key displaying layout in Gameex

My 4 player stick assigns one of the Buttons for player 4 for to "L"

In gameex when playing MAME if you hit button 4 on player 4 its brings up the control layout screen.

If I just run through MAME it does not do this so it must be a feature of GAMEEX.

I went through the advanced install where you can modify your buttons but did not see one to change this options letter.

Its there on Advanced MAME settings (1) in the setup wizard.
