I have read a few topics about GameEx doing weird things with resolution after playing MAME games. I am still experiencing a problem, but not sure what I'm seeing matches the other posts.

I am using BlueEx 640 x 480, my screen resolution is set to the same.

After playing a game like "Donkey Kong 3 " (this is just one example), the font in GameEx is much bigger. It is funny but it does not occur with all games (from what I can see right now).

If I switch to the 800 x 600 version of the theme, my fonts look okay, but not displayed in the same spot (looks shifted to the right).

Unfortunately, I can't find any real pattern and to make things worse, the bug does not happen every time.

This does not occur on any other emulators, just MAME. I tried a few other themes and didn't see this happen.

I can troubleshoot or send over anything you need. Hope it was okay creating a new post for this -- I wasn't sure if this is the same issue as others have reported, or what has been reported as being fixed in the last few releases.

Thanks Tom!

No, not always. I'd say like 75% of the time it happens. There may not be any pattern to the actual game that is selected, I'm not sure. I do know that I was trying "1941" and I couldn't get the problem to occur. I'll keep trying.

Can you get me some screenshots, font right size, and font wrong size?
