Hi every, just a quick question I'm having problems with.

I have the jukebox mode set to 'file audio tag' to load my music quickly as I have a rather large collection, which works great.

But now I can't see my playlists. Do I have to place them somewhere different?

If I change the jukebox mode back to 'media player' They show up.

Anyone struck this before? I have tried seaching for my answer, but found nothing. Also checked the setup, but find nothing relating to a playlist path as such

Please help

Did you create your playlists with Windows Media Player ? I use the WMP Library option in GameEX and am very happy with the way it works. I don't know what way the File Tag option works (i hear it's faster loading up if you have a large collection) or if you can save a playlist (give it a name) and play it later. I think of course you can create them on the fly but .. cannot save them and replay them at will. I think an WMP playlist has an extension of it's own (and the fact your using WMP's library)and maybe thats why its not showing up in File Tag Mode. You could try creating a playlist of your mp3s with something like WinAMP (m3u i think maybe the extension) and see if that will works. If not, only Tom has the answer perhaps.

Thanks for the reply, I'll try out winamp and see if that works, didn't think to try that.

If it does use a different file extention for playlists other than .wpl I wonder what it is?

Ok tried winamp, but no go.

I have no idea how to get playlists to show up when you use 'file audio tag' instead of 'windows media player' for the jukebox.

Anyone out there know how?

It there a way to make Jukebox work just like Videos do?

I mean no playlist import at all: just showing folders&content?

I have a vast collection of music, a big portion is missing tags at all,

so i keep it sorted in alphabet/artist/album folders of my harddrive.

I can spend half of a year completing a hardwork of importing all my 14 thousand mp's into MS Mediaplayer, but will it be worth the effort?
