Hello people how ya doing,

Could some please help me!!

I'm trying to get T.H.O.T.D3 TO play in gameex it will lanch it but some times it will flicker white

or not lunch at all. I have lego star wars playin all right and flat out 2 but not T.H.O.T.D3 it plays spot on with the LCD Top Gun out of gameex.

What happen when you goto Run last game.bat file located in gameex tree in start menu?

If it works you might need to choose SHOWDESKTOP.

If it runs a launcher a script might need to be made to automatically do the selected action.

I dont have this game but this should point you in the right direction

yea it will bring up a start page first you then have select play game then it will launch the game but at that piont it will shoot back to gameex but the game is still running in the backround ??

Here is a wrapper I wrote for it. Place it in the THOTD3 folder and run it instead of the game's exe.

Thanks Headkaze (you are a gentleman and a scolla fuckit your the KING OF THE WORLD!!! )works a treat but still will not work in gameex i think its a bug in the .ink path tom working on it now

When Tom fixes launching PC games, this wrapper is still worth using because it skips the menu and goes straight to the game.

Yeah What happens is gameex is calling the gamees launcher.exe..When you run the game the launcher closes and gameex thinks your done so it exits... Hope this make since as to why it doesnt work quite right.

I have afew other games that do this and I got them working....Does the DEMO fo the same thing.. If so Ill check it out...

Im sure we can get it goin There is alot of talented peeps here

I downloaded the demo and put together a script aswell. Ive have also included the emuconfig.ini

just extract to the c:\

I hope the demo executable is named the same as the real version.. I did get this to work for me through gameex

Is this for HOTD1 or HOTD3? Mine should work in the full retail version of HOTD3 only. I'm not sure what demo version your talking about have you got a link?

Also, any reason why you UPX compress your AHK script? It's not like they take up much space, or are you trying to prevent decompiling?

Not at all I dont mind decompliing..Then they can see how simple it really is...I just converted the AHK to EXE because I dont know if they have AHK installed.

I never had this game and did a quick setup in gameex the paths and game title and start page name I figured would be changed anyway.

I'am assuming that your wrapper didnt work for me bacause I have the demo. I just hope doesnt mean my script wont work cause you guys have the full version.
