I've had Dreamcast games running before in my cabinet with a lot of workarounds to get it to appear nice and work just as well.

Now that a lot lot of fine tuning for emulators other than MAME is available for GameEx users, which is the Dreamcast emu that runs most games at nice speeds AND how do I set them up in GameEx right now with minimum hassle?

I have mostly .cdi images for my games, but also some other image files like .img and .iso. I have been using DaemonTools to mount these before (best results for me).

Please advice

Null DC is the best Dc emu available. and works directly with most ISO formats.

I believe there loader for it and is hosted somwhere here on the forum.

Currently Tom is gathering all these files for it's own pinned topic I believe.

The only catch is null dc doesnt support gameepad so you have to use XPADDER or joytokey.

But its all gravy after that.

And It plays MVC2 and SNK vs CAPCOM 1 & 2 beautifully.

Check it out

Thanks. I use the X-Arcade Dual in my cabinet, so I don't suffer from the gamepad support much.

Well I also Use an IPAC so just a quick heads up. In the NULLDC config it will let you assign CTRL,SHIFT,ALT to the gamepad but they will not work.

I ended up programing my IPAC with standard keys and this has solved most of my emulation problems with these keys. Also a auto hot key script that tkes the Ctrl key to another will work as well.
