Damn I went to bed it was 8.40 now I wake up and its 8.46. Dont you get any rest? :)

I cant bear to take my cab online. It is windows based of course. Having Antivirus running in backround causes too many problem with slowdowns on scheduled scans and update popups.

Of couse if I dont have it then I get a virius and lose all the hours of tweaking I put in.

However for the peep that just have in on thier normal pc its a great idea. More than likely they already on the internet with it,

Thanks Tom all your updates are very welcome :) Its always nice to have a little more fun/fluff.

I tried updating to this version and I received an unhandled exception error during the download process and now my computer won't connect to the internet.

Tom (or somebody who knows), where do we see this new feature in GameEx? I looked through the Advanced Configuration thinking there is a way to enable it, but not seeing anything.

Hi John, no offence, but I dont think you can accuse GameEx of breaking your internet connectivity, its probably the other way round, your computer wont connect to the internet and you could not update GameEx.

I worked in Helpdesk for a few years and if someone rang up and said "I can't connect to the internet" or something along those lines, the first thing we would say is "have you tried rebooting your machine?". 9 times out of 10 it solves the problem ;)

Yeah your right there ;) I know i am really helpful and everything but to be honest, those kind of problems I dont want to support. I did it for a while, it was hands on too, no luxury of just talking on the phone.

I can always rely on you lighten things up. Cheers bud!

That was the same answer we gave when I worked the help desk too. I did reboot several times and reinstalled the drivers at least twice with no luck, so I just turned it off for a while and it finally reconnected after reinstalling a fresh set of drives.

During this issue I realized there is no way to know if the updates are actually downloading or if the download has stalled. Would it be possible to add a count down on the downloading screen? Something like 0MB of 12MB downloaded.
