Also found someone trying to hack the registration!

Just a minor bug that I've found with 8.22... When I set the screensaver to play only my favorite games it will still play any random MAME game. That last version I had, 8.20, the play only favorites option worked perfectly.

Possibly a bug, but try running an update of your roms. Sometimes that fixes this sort of thing. That's just a stab in the dark though...

Ok, I found a way to fix it but another small bug has popped up. When I turn on the option to allow other emulators for the screensaver, that's when it plays games outside of my favorites list. But when I don't allow other emulators for the screensaver it's works great. Most of my favorites are MAME anyway so it's no big deal.

That is most likely a bug. I doubt Tom has really looked into that since revamping the Emu favorites database a few versions ago.

i have a problem with the latest version, from when the new key mapping has landed, i have setup gamepad map to alt-F4 to exit from emulators, and i use the same button as BACK in the frontend.

I now have to double press back when moving in the frontend, i goto to n64 games, the i push back... the previous menu is loaded, now if i move the gamepad i hear the sound but the selection does not move, i i press again back the selection moves...

You say this is related to the latest version, are you sure about it? Did it work fine in older versions?

This has always been the case, in regard to when emulators are enabled in the screensaver. its even documentated in the config app as far as I know.

Can I ask that folks are just a little careful when reporting bugs specific to versions, there's two in this post. If your not 100% please post a new topic. No worries though if its honest mistake.

Have a bug where certain movies play a mirror image or simply upside down. Does it on previews and on opening intros ???

This sounds like a codec setting is wrong. Just open the settings for that codec and search though. There will be options to fix this.

Thanks bkenobki how do i know what codec it using and where do i find them to edit them

That's a good question. If you installed the K-Lite codec pack, then there is a directory in your start menu that lists all the codecs. If you installed FFDShow, I presume it should be there as well, but I cannot verify that since I haven't set that one up before. The codec that needs editing depends on the file being played. I couldn't begin to guess without at least knowing the extension. If it's an AVI, that is actually a question I don't know the answer to. I've actually been struggling a bit myself to determine what codec is required for what AVI file, so hopefully someone else can be more direct on this.
