EDIT: It looks to me like it launched and ran for ~14 minutes? What am I missing?

No change still the same thing happening :(

So if I understand correctly, you are saying that the crash still occurs when launching the rom from the command line above. Is that correct? I don't see anything wrong with the arguments above. First verify that that C:\Emulators\Mame32\roms\asteroi1.zip exists. If so, then try launching the rom without the extra options.

I think that command line runs cmd.exe with the /c param and the root of c:. Then from that location it calls mame32.exe asteroi1 -rompath...

If that's the case, then the c: would be needed, but I think that part of the command line is built into GameEx. In either case, iano said that running just the mame32 part didn't fix the problem, so I doubt that the extra c: is the primary source of his problem. I'm guessing it's a mame32 or driver setup problem (like he asks for triplebuffer and his system can't handle it for example).

bkenobi is right the extra C: is not actually a part of the command line used to launch the game, it is just debug info for the log file. GameEx\DATA\runitgame.bat is what is actually launched from GameEx. You can run this batch file outside GameEx.

Initially thought the mame path was messed up somehow. Thanks for explaining guys.
