Whats up guys,

Heres the thing. I use Nulldc to emulate dreamcast...Works great.

I am using an IPAC and the default MAME configuration for keys.

When setting up the emu controls buttons like SHIFT,CTRL,ALT all show up in the configuration for the right keys Y,B,X,A.

But do not work in game. START does and 2nd player controls work. I believe its because they are regular keystrokes.

GAMEEX does have an advance configuration which I normally use to emulate joystick to keystrokes. Simiar to XPADDER

I guess what I need is a KEY to KEY this way I can have CTRL mapped to "g" or somthing.

I know the root of the issue is with the emu itself. (waiting for next version) but does any one here run this emu with a CPANEL?

Thanks in advance. I know someone will have an idea.

BTW I know IPAC is reconfigurable but I really dont want to do that.

Thanks again

I know it's not what you want to here but I reconfigured my Ipac a long time ago so it doesn't use anything but standard letter keys because Ctrl, Shift and Alt were causing me all sorts of grief with various other emulators.

What you could try though if you don't want to do that is an AutoHotKey script

Put this line in a .ahk file and set it to run before the emulator, obviously you need to have AutoHotKey installed to

Control::g

Reconfiguring your Ipac will still be the easiest option in the long run though if you plan on having a lot of emulators set up on your cabinet... it was the Alt key that caused me the most problems with various emulators

Thanks stu I figured this would be the case.

I'll take your advise and reconfigure the IPAC.
