Mame Roms not showing up in GAMEEX

I am a somewhat noob so please bear with me. I just installed Gameex and ran the setup utility. I am only using Mame32 as my emulator. When I have Gameex search for my roms they will not show up, even though they show up when I only use mame32. Any Ideas...do I need to install advance mame to make this thing work? And if I do how in the hell do I do that!

No you don't need to install Advance Mame. Just make sure the paths to your ROMs are setup properlly in the Setup Wizard (under Basic Mame Options), then do a List Update in GameEx.

I did that and they still do not show up... Is there anything else that could cause this?

Ok after 2 days of doing the same thing over and over, I just installed the newest version of mame32 and it worked. So if any other noobs like me try to make gameex and older mame32 version work together DONT WASTE YOUR TIME !

What version of MAME32 were you using?
