Hello!!

I've setup Media Player Classic as an emulator to use it when I want to play some video formats not supported by GameEx yet.

Everything is ok as long as I use a local directory as the rompath. But I would like to setup a network directory for my videos and GameEx refuse it.

When I use a directory like:

//host/directory

GameEx raise an error about it telling me that the directory is not correct.

I've tried to mount my network directory as a network drive. GameEx starts but when I list the drive I have the letter of the drive plus a ":" then the name of the files...Something like that (z:\ is the network drive):

z:video1

z:video2

...

When I try to play it, GameEx crashes.

Can someone tell me if I've made a mistake?

Another think. For the videos directory from the multimedia panel, we can put severals directory separated by a semicolon (and network drives works here). Can we have the same behavior for the rompath of the emulators setup??

Thank you.

Bruno.

can\'t say I\'ve ever tried this, and I don\'t have GameEx in front of me (just started a new project to build a more wife-friendly cocktail cab) but what happens if you use \"\\\\host\\directory\" (backslash vs forward slash)?

edit: the network path issue aside, might be worth comparing your config to the one Amos_82 posted last year in http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?sh...amp;#entry15523
