mame aint working

hi, i cant get mame to come up on the menu, ive selected the right directories for the right things but it just aint working, any help is welcome

Paragraph 3 and specifcally 4:

4: 'If you have troouble getting MAME to show up in GameEx, check the log, this will tell you why GameEx disabled MAME.'

i had the same problem and i solve it going in configurations to advanced mame settings. When i configure it, i openes again Game ex, and there it was the mame option games in the menu.
