ESC key issue

This should be easy but im having some trouble figuring it out. I recently built a driving arcade and use game-ex but im running into a problem with the ESC key closing the game and going back to the game-ex menu. Is there any way I can disable this?

My main issue is with some of the older Need for Speed games they use ESC to go back to the game menu and they won't allow you to change it to a different key.

I've looked through some of the configuration and also the ini files but still haven't been able to figure it out.

You need to go into the GameEx configuration and go to the game you are having trouble with and set map keys = no. This will keep GameEx from watching what keys you are pressing during the game. When you manually exit your game, GameEx should come back on.
