Guys,

I am having trouble with the Fusion and Nes emulators while using GameEx. When I launch a game using these emulators I have to find the file and choose load to for it to work. Question is how can I get these games to load automatically when chosen? Am I using the wrong emulator? Second question is how to do I make the jukebox play automatically upon the start of GameEx? Thanks.

I can't answer your first question without seeing your config. My guess is you have the path put in wrong... But I can't be sure without seeing it first.

I'll bet his missing the Fusion.exe -gen -fullscreen "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]"

nestopia.exe "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]"

To start the jukebox with GameEx open "Advanced Configuration" and click on "Audio Setting" then set "Play Music/Radio on Startup" to Yes.

Bob,

Once I select a game from my GameEx screen the ZNes emulator starts up but once it starts it doesnt start the selected game. It just starts the emulator then I have to go to load on the top menu inside the emulator and select the game from the roms folder. I know it is something simple as a wrong path but into gameEX. I have the Znes emualtor in my emulaors folder on my C drive. My Roms, snaps and all other items for this emlulator are inside the Znes folder on the C drive. What do I need to put in the Rom paths in GameEx during setup to make the Znes Emulator start the selected game when chosen. Thanks.

As I said before, it would really help out if we could see your config...

Adultry,

I ended up getting it working. I just had to go into the actual emulator and make some configuration changes. My new problem is Gamex is not displaying my games in full screen. It displays the games in a small box in the middle of the screen. It is doing this in all the emulators. I went back to MAME and made sure I turned off the bezel but there was still no change. Can you tell me all the things to check to make all emulators use the whole monitor? I am using a ArcadeVGA on a real arcade monitor in a cab. The other thing that I dont understand is why my desk top a appears to large for the monitor. I cannot see my tool bar at all. Im just throwing out some of the problems I am having as a beginner with gameex and emulation for help. Anyone who has any tips please post. Thanks.

@Tal:

ZSNES needs to be configured through the GUI for fullscreen. NEStopia has a command line switch: -fullscreen. Most other emulators can be configured for fullscreen through the INI or CFG file. If none of the previously mentioned methods work, simply open the emulator outside of GameEx, maximize the window, and close the emulator.

If you need help with a specific EMU, ask and ye shall recieve.

Hope that helps! :)
