gamepad exiting in screensaver

how do i stop the gamepad exiting the screensaver when i try to play a game that catches my eye

it seems to be the 3rd button

Do you have the 3rd button mapped as a GameEx control button on your joypad? ie does the 3rd button do something when you're in GameEx? Like ESC or back or enter or what have you?

Oh, my fault. I think you mean how do you program a button to run the game from the screensaver... My fault.

GameEx checks for button 6 for this.

I thought if you hit the credit button, it was supposed to play the game without exiting. Thing is, sometimes it exits anyway. Thoughts?

i think it might be better if i could just play a screen saver game and if i dont i just press esc to get to gameex,

because i have a lot of poeple around my place and for instance golden axe will pop up,

"ooh can i play that " but it keeps exiting then i have to find the game ,

any chance of an option to enable only esc to exit screensaver,

Actually, hitting escape (or whatever button normally exits games) makes a lot of sense to me for exitting screensaver. I always try to hit the start button and it exits on me
