Hi guys!

All my movie collection is in mkv files. I have renamed all the mkv into avi to be able to view it with the gameex player.

It was working for a moment (I could watch my movies) but recently I made a new set up of windows in order to complete my gameex and now gameex crash every times I am trying to read these avi containers....

no problem for simple format like avi, xvid.. etc all game avi previews are working...

I tried many set up of codecpack and configuration for haali splitter...matroska...new windows, new setup for gameex and no luck.........

It's driving me crazy because on my other computer I don't have this problem, everithing run perfectly and I am quite sure I am using the same settings for codecpack. The only difference is the version of gameex 7.90

I need great help, I am out of ideas!!!

I was wondering if its not possible to add some new features in the main menu (multimedia) in order to implement new application such as media player classic, bsplayer, program for picture slideshow....

I am so desperate that I have setup bsplayer in the emulator section (it works nice) but I would prefer put it in the main menu (multimedia->video).

Waiting for help or advice

ok I have upgrade gameex to v.8 with the same working setup (no change in codec pack) and now it's not working on my second computer.......

Something is going wrong with gameex and ffdshow since v.7.90.

No more possibilty to read avi containers.... snif!!!

Is there anybody with a solution?

Tom, is there a possibility to put a emulator group under main menu? in the multimedia section?

Thanks in advance

This is now fixed in 8.01. It also supports .mkv without having to rename to avi.

Go grab it.

Yeah It works (setup v8.02)!!!!!! Thank you so much again!!!!

I was wondering if there were additionnal command line with the player or button customization to change audio stream or subtitle? maybe to difficult to implement..

I never tried to use DVD via Gameex but I suppose we can choose audio stream, 5.1, dolby digital, language...

I will test!
