My cabinet is been off for about 4 months. Is currently running GameEX 7.09 and everything is working great. I notice that there has been several new releases to the frontend. Should I upgrade. I am currently running XP sp 2. The auto update did not prompt me for a new release.

Yes. :D

So many things have been changed and/or implimented since then you should go look at the release history and see for yourself. :)
