Guys,

I know this is not really a gameex question but I'm really running out places to look for. I want to buy a used d9200. (brand new is like $500 plus shipping) but I don't know where I can find it... ebay doesn't have whole lot. I hope someone knows any source about this.

Thanks

Jeff

Mate i payed $875 for mine a year ago from ZAX AMUSEMENTS in Melbourne Australia.

The best $875 i have ever spent.

Just plug n play, straight out of the box.NO NEED FOR THE ARCADE VGA CARD TO GET THE RESOLUTION RIGHT,it is already perfect.

Go ahead, indulge yourself,You Will Not Be Sorry.

Cheers. <_<

Damn! $875 is more than what it cost me to build my entire first cabinet (parts, paint, tv, etc, etc, etc). Granted I built it on a tight budget, but I didn't end up skimping on anything really. Must be nice to work with an unlimited cash supply

Mate,$875 is a bargain for the sheer purfection that it has done to my game playing.

Remember my $875 is a whole lot different to your $875US For your completed cab.

And no i dont have an unlimited cash supply, but what i forsake in the free cab i spent on a perfect picture with a huge screen.

Will post a few pics soon of the completed cab that cost me totally finished for a smidge under a grand Aus.

Cheers.

People often say over in BYOAC that the screen should be the most expensive part of the cab.

Hey rygars, I would love to buy one of these when I can afford it, I wonder how much it would cost to import them to Perth. I can't find anywhere over here that sells these. I would guess it would be a couple of hundred AUD to get it sent over.

Forgot about the USD -> AUD conversion :P

I agree that a better display would be MUCH nicer, but when I was looking at 27" displays, I couldn't convince the wife that >$1000US for the display was worth the money. Of course, I did not look for used monitors at the time. I figured they would just end up with burn in and be a disappointment. Also, at the time I was under the impression that there was a problem connecting them to a pc without a special vga card, drivers, and constant adjustments for each game. Sounds like it's not really a problem after all!

For my current project, I am using a 20" Trinitron tube flat screen CRT. Should look great and will just squeeze into the 19" hole!

Headkaze,go to zaxamusements.com

They are in melbourne.I am in Sydney and the cost to ship it to my address by there carrier(cope)was only $40

You should really inveast in one(they are awesome)and will finish off your cab nicely.

Bkenobi,

Like i said -the best cash i ever spent.

Simple, just plug your computer in to the vga, connect the power and you would think that you are really playing on an arcade monitor.

No need for the so-called arcade vga card-i am just using an ati radeon 128mb.

Perfect picture with perfect results.

Will try to post a few pics of it on the weekend for you,

Cheers. <_<
