I just updated to v7.95 this evening. I did not change any settings, I just installed the installer as usual. After completion, I ran the executable (as usual) and GameEx errored out. I rebooted and started GameEx again and let it go to demo mode. It seemed to be working fine, but then when I alt-tabbed out to put it in the background (which I have been able to do without problems from day 1), it crashed. Any thoughts?

That looks odd. Does it do this consistently? Ie was it just a one off?

It did it the first time I started it up. I reset the computer (actually, that's what "PowerOff.bat" does), then relaunched GameEx without any other utilities loaded (JoyToKey was loading) to verify that it wasn't conflicting. It loaded up just fine, so I went to dinner and when I came back it was still playing. So, I alt-tabbed out to relaunch JoyToKey, but it immediately caused this error on alt-tabbing.

I haven't had this problem before, so yeah, it's something new. Thanks for looking into it!

Okay, I'll give it a try. Thanks!

Edit: I ran GameEx for several hours in demo mode and no crash! I also played a few games through Zinc, Model2 and MAME without error. I was also able to alt-tab out and return. Thanks for the quick fix!
