All issues since 7.73 should now be resolved.

Fixes anormorphic video aspect in vista

DVD and Video aspect ratios are now separate. So you should only have to set the DVD aspect once

GameEx now remembers aspect ratios for your videos

Tom,

I may be going completely insane (or it may just be my HTPC) but, the "MCE fails to re-start properly" bug I reported in the previous Update News thread seems to have popped up again in the latest update. I wonder if it really does have anything to do with all of these updates, or, if I should be posting this in its own thread for general viewing/discussion?

I may be going completely insane (or it may just be my HTPC) but, the "MCE fails to re-start properly" bug I reported in the previous Update News thread seems to have popped up again in the latest update. I wonder if it really does have anything to do with all of these updates, or, if I should be posting this in its own thread for general viewing/discussion?

Unfortunatly I think this is specific to your HTPC, so yes post a new thread (ill still try and help if i can).

Since v 7.76 i've been getting this error message (below), as soon as i launch GameEx the nag screen shows for a second then minimizes then goes back to full screen then minimizes and shows the error log. It doesnt happen all the time, about once out of every 3 times of launching Game Ex. I tried different themes and upgraded to v7.79 and it still happens. It doesnt bother me much i can put up with it, but wanted to report it incase it was a bug or if someone can tell me if its some setting i have to change to fix it. :blink:
