Tom,

Seems there are still a few related issues after all...

1. The MCE Remote "Start" Button starts Media Center but fails to close GameEx (when GameEx is running and I want to go back to Media Center).

2. Switching to GameEx after such a failure causes GameEx to throw an exception identical to the one in the log I previously posted.

Also, I don't believe this is appropriate placement for such discussion (let me know if it is and I will take it elsewhere,) but, I have seen an increasing number of issues with Media Center/GameEx interaction (mainly DirectX failures when going to GameEx) ever since I switched my TV tuner from an ATI eHome Wonder to an nVidia DualTV MCE. Just thought I should mention it here given the nature of the errors GameEx is reporting here.

Thanks again for all your help!

NOTE:

Edited for clarity of issue #1

This might because the media center mode setting has been changed. Its under Tweaks/Performance. Set it to the recommended value.

Tom,

After further looking into the above issue, I found that GameEx only exhibits this one intermittantly... However, the "failure to properly start Media Center" issue (see my above post) still stands a constant.

Just figured I'd keep you informed as to what I find out...

Thanks!

Tom,

This was the first thing I checked...it's properly set to the "(recommended)" setting.

Thanks!

I found a problem, if i scroll through a menu the clicking sound disappears after a couple of clicks, this happens only if i hold the cursor up/down not when pushing.

The sound played when going back(space) keeps on working

I have the speech plugin installed.

Also I have a rotatable tft monitor at resolution 1024x786, can this resolution also be made rotatable or is there some limit at 800x600 ?

Thanks
