Hi!

I have just started to discover GameEx and I love it! Can't believe that I have owned an htpc for so long and not discovered this before :) Great thanks to its creator!

My question is: On the startmenu in media center... how can I change "My Games" to become "Spill"? I use norwegian MS MCE2005.

You want to change the words "My Games" to read "Spill" instead? Is that the question?

If so you can change it in the Text/Language menu on your Setup Wizard. Make sure you then change the language to - CUSTOM -

I think whats being asked is how to change the text actually in Windows media center 2005. This is actually documented how to do this on the GameEx docs/Faq page.

Q: How do I change "My Games" shown in Windows Media Center to something else.

A: Change this key in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SOFTWARE / WINDOWS / CURRENTVERSION / MEDIA CENTER / EXTENSIBILITY / CATEGORIES / START MENU / {3de6904a-d9c7-4ef9-b77d-c1216b39161a} > "TITLE".

e.g. Run Regedit.exe navigate to the above, double click on TITLE and type what you want it to be called.

Thank you! It worked :)

ps: the MICROSOFT folder is missing in the FAQ. Here is the full path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SOFTWARE / MICROSOFT / WINDOWS / CURRENTVERSION / MEDIA CENTER / EXTENSIBILITY / CATEGORIES / START MENU / {3de6904a-d9c7-4ef9-b77d-c1216b39161a} > "TITLE"
