Theme resolution question

If a theme is designed for 1024x768, will it generally look a bit weird in 1600x1200 (for instance)?

I was running the NexGen theme and my titles were always missing some letters.

I tried to go into the theme editor and adjust the theme to be 1600x1200, but couldn't figure out how to do it. There is a little green box that seems to indicate the resolution, but I couldn't figure out how to adjust it. Is this not possible?

Open up theme.ini in the theme folder. There you can edit the sizes etc. It is better to copy the entire folder first though and rename it with the intended resolution for backup.
