OT: HD divx movies (.mkv)

Hi guys.

This forum really has the smartest and friendliest people of all forums i know of. therfore i thought i would ask this question here. It

has some connection to gameex tho gameex also is a htpc interface (could be)

Well i wonder what you think is the best way to watch .mkv files? can you watch it trough gameex? is it best to watch these files through ffdshow? (but ffdshow is just a codec, not a player)

give me your thoughts on watching 720p HD divx (.mkv in particular) movies in general. (with the best quality possible).

Use the Matroska splitter:

All you really need is FFDShow and this. Then you should be able to watch these kind of movies in any DirectShow player including GameEx.

I would expect them to run fine if you do the above, but dont know for sure without testing.
