Hello,

I just set up my registered version of GameEx today. I love it, it is awesome. I am having a problem with vertical games and cannot seem to solve the issue.

I am using an Ultimarc Arcade VGA card, Mame32 version 109 and now GameEx.

The vertical games are being stretched out to my full Horizontal arcade monitor (not holding aspect ratio). I can play the games fine in Mame32, but when I load them in GameEx they are stretched. I have tried Bezel option and ArcadeVGA options.

Is there something I am overlooking that would allow games like Ms. Pac and Galaga to display properly on this type of set up?

Look for a file in your mame folder called mame.ini, rename it to mamebak.ini. Turn on ArcadeVGA in GameEx.

Hey all,

I have had another problem that I am hoping someone can help me with that is related.

I had to set up a new computer to run my mame (Long story.) Anyway, In MAME32 the games are full screen or verticle as they should be, like above. I have tried to change the name of the MAME32.ini file and then the verticle games play fine, but the horizontal games are only the width of the vertical games????

Any ideas? I either have the verticle games playing Full Horizontal screen or the Horizontal games playing about the width of the Vertical games.

PLEASE HELP!
