Steering wheel control?

I have a cabinet in the works that has a pair of 360° steering wheels. There are currently 2 buttons on the control panel, and I don't plan on adding any more (currently). I may add a couple under the CP, but those will be hiden and not really intended for typical use.

My question is if these controls can be used to run GameEx? My thought was to have the wheels rotation scroll through the list one item at a time. The two buttons could be used for select and back. But, I don't know if the steering wheel could be used this way or not. This may be the same question as here.

I guess it depends on how you have it set up... it seems to me that you can edit the key assignments to perform different things in GameEx using the Advanced Config -> Input Options and manually mapping your keys.The only problem I forsee is that your wheel would be kind of like pressing left and right on a controller and GameEx needs an up and down movement to scroll game lists... Am I completely wrong here?

Yes, a steering wheel works fine to control gameex, At least my momo worked fine. I just plugged it in and it worked like a charm.
