Thanks iano. That makes a lot of sense. Would you say there is a Amperage max I shouldn't exceed? I don't know what draw the trackball RGB is, but I have 29 buttons to light with RGBs, so that 1.7A+the trackball. I want to do that with only two LED-WIZzes if I can.

Hi Quixote Quest. I still think you should be fine at that providing you don't have a lot of hard drives, dvd rom drives etc . I don't think your trackball led/bulb would draw much more current than an rgb led (60mA). I have one of those Happ 3" Highball Trackball (translucent blue) and use a triple blue led to illuminate it. Your total amperage (1.7A + trackball rgb) should be fine but i personally would not push it much beyond this. I'm not saying this from the ledwizs point of view it's just i don't know what spare current your pc's psu has available. Having said that, it's unlikely you'll be driving all your rgb leds to the max at any given time.

Cheers,

iano.

Hey HeadKaze

I got my RGB's and second LedWiz hooked up now. WOO HOO!!

One thing I wanted to share with you and everyone else who is planing on doing something like this is how I mounted the led boards. I didn't want to make a new control panel (I just built a new one a couple of months ago) and my pause and exit buttons are to close together and to close to the sides of the CP box to mount the led boards the normal way, anyway this is what I did to overcome that.

If you look at the picture you can see that all three tabs on the switch have connectors on them the reason for this is if the led drops on the switch it won't arc on the tab.
