Hello everyone...

I just bought a Vista Home Premium HP Pavillion/AMD DC/Nvidia laptop. I was just wondering if it's stable and running on the Vista system before I try to install it? The other issue is this: The res is 1440x900 and I've never used anything above 1024x768. Is this going to present any problems I should know about?

I'm almost afraid of Vista since it's new to me so any suggestions would be awesome.

i just wondered. how is mame, and other emulated games with a widescreen display? will the picture get stretched? or does black bars appear on each side of the game to keep its original aspect?

if anyone have any thoughts about this?
