MAME avisnaps don't work

I recently ran the "Create MAME Videos" program from the GameEx folder and now have a bunch of .mng's in my MAME folder. The thing is, in GameEx, snaps for games just show up as a black screen - no video or even still image - just a black square. I've tried putting the .mng's in my avisnap folder and the regular snap folder but in both cases it is just black.

How do I fix this? Normal .png's from screenshots that I took by hand show up fine in GameEx.

Same problem here, avi's for other emulators work fine, only mame avi's show a black screen. Codec issue?

Well Id suggest downloading the kilte codec pack...Just google it.. I has codecs for just about anything... As far as the videos you made... I might not have captured the video overlay... This happens on occasion. Id suggest checking out emumovies website.

Oooops, my bad, didn't do my homework before writing.

I forgot to install FFDShow. All is working fine now.
