Remove all favorites

how would I go about removing all my favorites? I told gameex the wrong ini for my favorites and now I have almost 2000 favorites, I've tried telling it a different file with less but its not changing

When you make the change you have to update your game list. If you've already done that, you need to delete gamelist.ini and update again.

deleting gamelist.INI and updating didn't do anything but deleting gameslist.TXT cleared the favourites for me... now I just have to find what I had before I messed it up
