Need help with chankast

I've got Chankast working on my cab with one game. The game is mapped to my virtual F drive and works fine. When I start Chankast, I simply hit the play button and the game begins. I imported the Chankast emulator settings for game ex and when I go to start my game, it only brings up the sega main menu (play, file, music, and settings). When I select play, it says "insert game disk". I have pointed my ROM path to the physical location of the ISO images (not to the virtual drives). I pointed it to the virtual drive and that didn't work either.

Also, I wanted to keep my iPac configured for the default MAME mappings, but it turns out that left alt appears to be the pause key in Chankast. Is there anything I can do, other than coming up with a new iPac mapping?
