I want to change the order that my Emulators are in. I've installed so many to test that now that I want to keep them in order of Machine.

I tried changing the EMU_numbers and [EMULATOR Number] in the gameex.ini file but it did nothing.

Is there some other file I can edit to do this?

Start->Programs->GameEx->Setup Wizard->Custom->Emulator Selection, then use the "Copy Emulator Config to RAM" and "Copy Emulator Config from RAM" buttons to change your order. Do a backup of GameEx.ini first though incase you accidently overwrite something.

FYI "Copy Emulator to RAM" and "Copy Emulator from RAM" have been removed in the latest version of the Setup Wizard. They are replaced by "Move Emulator Up" and "Move Emulator Down". Hopefully it will make things easier to change the order of your Emulators. Also there is a new button with an "A" on it. This will sort your Emulators into alphabetical order.

Is there a way to create custom menus to group like emulator. ie Atari, Nintendo, and Sega menus with the emulated games listed in sub-menus.

the emulator grouping that's appeared somewhere between 7.5 and 8.1 is extremely handy.

but i have a question - is there an option to put merged emulators in a submenu together and keep game lists seperate, instead of making one list?

ive accidently merged all my nintendo emus and actually.. i rather like it :o
