Oops, I forgot to add the initialization code for the LCD's! I'll upload a new version in a minute.

EDIT: Sorry about that, download the new version from here

I'd appreciate it if you can get back to me to let me know if it's working okay.

Sorry, I found another bug. This time I ran it with a serial port monitor and the output looks right now. Download and try again.

EDIT: Added a "Test" button so you can test the LCD in the configuration program.

You have to make sure you have your COM ports setup the same in both the Plugin and in Windows. To make life easier I've put a button called "Configure Port..." for configuring the port in Windows. You have to make sure that the Port Num, Baud Rate, Data Bits, Parity and Stop Bits match your ProLite, as well as the Windows port configured in "Configure Port..." and the settings in the plugin.

I have tested the plugin with a Port Monitor and it works. You must get those settings right, and the "Test LCD" button should then output something.

win i send 1942 with the sign software it sends<ID01><PA>1942 <ID01><RPA> on the com monator

win i send test button with beta 1.5 it sends <ID00>Game Name

i know id stands for the sign id id00 will send to all signs on that com so id00 is ok put beta 1.5 does not send the proper commpand it sends <ID00>Game Name <id00><pa>game name <ID01><RPA> should get the sign to say game name

It's strange about that <PA> command, because nowhere is it explained in the ProLite Protocol document, except for a small example. Okay, I am following the example now, can you download 1.51 and see if it works.

The output should now be

<ID01><PA>Game Name cr lf

Exactly as the example is given in the protocol document. Let me know if it works.

works grate little bug win i highlite 1942 on the display it says 194219421942 no space win i pick 2 0n 2 ice hockey it come accros nice but onley mix coler

i can give you more commands to make it show difirent colers and anumasion and date and time do you want me to type some out for ya and by the way nice job and thank's

Okay, I've removed the <PA> because reading over the document again, it states

If <Pn> is not specified, page A is assumed as default.

So I believe it's not needed at all.

I am actually outputting

<ID01><PA>1942 cr lf <ID01><RPA>

Does your Port Monitor software output those characters? The cr and lf are carriage return and line feed characters. I need to know exactly what is being output!

Hang on I'll update again without those, wait for 1.53 then download...

Just uploaded 1.53, those CR & LF characters are invisible to my PortMon software (from SysInternals).

1.53 is that what you posted without CR & LF characters.

If the ProLite protocol document wasn't so bloody vague then we wouldn't have this problem!

We will get it right soon :)

win you type 1942 in the soft ware it shows <ID01><PA>1942

<ID01><RPA>

win i use 1.53 beta <ID01><PA>1942<ID01><RPA>

could the problem be that ID01><RPA> is not under <ID01><PA>1942 exsaple<ID01><PA>1942

<ID01><RPA>
