ZSNES Video Problems

I am having problems with my ZSNES video in GameEx. ZSNES works fine by itself but when I launch SNES games in GameEx I see the ROM information and the frame rate but then the screen goes blank except for the frame rate. I'm sure it is a video setting, any ideas?

I am running ZSNES as well and this is what I did ; )

Disable show rom info frame rate etc... in ZSNES settings and then try setting ShowDesktop=False

Actually, the problem was that my roms were compressed with 7zip. I checked the ZSNES site and apparently the emulator won't work on compressed files. I unzipped the roms and the games load up fine.

It's odd that the rom info and frame rates would show up but the game itself wouldn't load.

I thought that GameEx handled the uncompressing prior to running the game. Am I wrong?

It does. Its a registered only feature. I have my roms 7zip and all is fine on my end. Kinda weird.

I am a registered user and it seems to work with my other emulators.

You have games compressed into individual .7z files? I think that feature is only set to work if GoodMerge is also enabled... Maybe I'm wrong?
