is displaying avi snaps also for reg users only?

i know creating avi snaps is for registered user. but i recently DL an awsome Kinst video and want to see how it looks displayed in gameex. im not getting it to work. so i assume that showing videos also is only for registered users? (in contrast to creating avi snaps)

so is showing avi snaps also for registered users?

if you have set the video snap dir to the correct place in the emu config

then yes i would think it is for reg'd users not 100% what is for reg'd users

If I read this correctly I'd assume that avi snaps are for all to use.

Actually if I recall correctly when I didn't have GameEx regged...I could in fact watch avi's...tho the nag screen was enough to make me reg in and of its self as I was setting up a butt load of emu's...any ways back on topic...you should be able to watch avi's.

could it be for me that the avi is not working cause its a wmv? or that my gameex is 5 months old?

i specifyed the video snap path, renamed the WMV to kinst (the same as the rom)

PS is the avi snaps capped at any size?

my Wmv video i want displayed as avi snap for a certain game is 50mb? is it to big for gamex to play maby?

wmv...no clue...but it should play avi and mpeg.

Your build of GameEx should be fine...think thats about the same time I started to play with it as well.

The size of the video file shouldn't make a differnce.

I don't know of any real rez the avi's are suppose to be at...but I'd make sure they are at least 320x240...or really damn close to that...any thing above should be fine.

my avi snap isnt an avi file. its an .wmv file. that was the problem. thx anyways
