I have really enjoyed the DVDs on disk feature of GameEx. I have about 110 movies in the menu to play on my bigscreen in the living room! Is there a way to divide the DVD's menu into separate menu screens.... maybe one for Horror flicks, maybe one for Kids Movies, etc.

I'm pretty good at editing config files or code. If anyone knows of a way to create new DVD's on disk menuing - maybe each one playing from a different directory?

thanks!

I haven't toyed with this feature as of yet...and really not likely to...however should you not be able to come up with a working solution, may I recommend posting to the "Features Request" thread your idea...never know, maybe it'll be added later on.

in the folder you point gameex to cant you arange the films like

Horror

--list movies

kids

--list movies

then on the menu in gameex it should show the dvds folder then have sub folders i have done the for TV shows so i would guess it would work for dvds

if not i agree with nologic ask in feature request section

I tried the subfolder idea, but GameEx is pretty smart! It found all the movies in the various subfolders, and managed to create a single list of alphabetized movies - just as if they were all in same folder. It even takes movies from different networked PCs and hard drives - alphabetizes them and displays one list.

I'll give it shot in Feature Request forum.

thanks,
