ok looked at the sff sega saturn posted here there no help, i cfg (ini) in gameex in properly setup it the same thing as the one is in the sega.zip that is provided on this forum but instead its alcohol 120% which works fine using the tg cd , but i can get it to work for saturn..i hope i can get a answer this time, sorry not trying to be a dick, but i getting tired of just being hung out to dry waiting and waiting for a reply that never comes i just want to get this gameex and emus mess done already, ok anyway....on with the issue about the ssf saturn emu.... version 007 beta6 it just runs and says not a game cd, now the game is mounted, the reason why i say this is the get the same error message saying "not a game cd" if i run the ssf without a game mounted, and i also tried version 008alphaR4 and that just shows the emulator in windowed form sitting there with a black screen doing nothing and i dont get the not a game cd error, and i can try the saturn emu outside of gameex because if i mount a game then run ssf nothing happens either and if i go inti options to choose a cd drive there is my drive, and a bunch of the virtual drives, but there all listed as "scsivax dvd/cdrom and i tired all of them and and nothing works...what hell is going on here!!!!!!!!!

First of all what is your issue...not speaking about the emu here.

Not every one that views this thread use's that emu...or if they do, may have never ran into that problem.

Now if you can leave the bs at the door, are you using my ini or some one else's?

*Update*

Okay I see the only Sega.zip is mine. :)

Please make sure that the command line to mount the disc image is correct...some times GameEx strips to many double quotes.

CD\DVD CLI info

How ever you should be able to run the EMU out side of GameEx first off prior to even needing to worry about getting it to work with in GameEX.

I can't believe you offered to help after that.

heh true...but never know...maybe he won't burn to many bridges and will one day be helpful around the forum.

But yeah he's a little over the top, when asking for *FREE* help

See now why are you reply now after i make a stink! i asked nicely before many times, thats why i'am so madd! thats all, honestly can you be upset about that.

yeah that what i got:

"C:\Program Files\Alcohol Soft\Alcohol 120\AxCmd.exe" e: /M:"[RomPath]\[RomFile]"

"C:\Program Files\Alcohol Soft\Alcohol 120\AxCmd.exe" e: /U

it mounts the image, runs the emu and just sits there

and what about:

if i go into options to choose a cd drive there is my drive, and a bunch of the virtual drives, but there all listed as "scsivax dvd/cdrom

Oh no...you didn't just go there.

Okay for one...I just seen the fucking post.

Your kicking up a fuss made no difference to me WHAT so ever, but it does NOW.

Myself and everyone else here is NOT here to hold your hand. We are NOT paid to help.

Getting XYZ emu to work with GameEx is NOT some thing Tom or anyone else is suppose to supply support to paid or non paid users.

Really if you left that first guilt tripping drama queen stuff out of your post...I would have been more than willing to lend a hand.

You burned a bridge there.

Before I go off on this subject I would like to apologize to the entire GameEx user base as well as the GameEx.info moderators and forum regulars. However, I've taken my share of abuse from this person and I've had enough. The line has officially been crossed and it's time to stop being the babysitter on the forum.

Me too, Puppet. You've been warned about the attitude in a lot of posts. We're like a family here... We offer the best support on the internet for not only GameEx, but often for various Emulators too. If you don't believe me, try asking questions and repeatedly bumping your topics on another forum and see how far that takes you.

I read the post but I don't use the emulator so I apologize for not being able to help. However...

You're not the only person who has problems here, and the attitude is absolutely uncalled for.

If you're not satisfied with GameEx, fine. It's not for everyone. But if you're gonna lash out on us for looking at your post 15 times (which is probably you looking at your own post 14 times) then I say good luck to you sir.

I have personally responded to your posts on a TON of occasions so don't give me that BS. I paid for GameEx just like everyone here, and Tom gives me nothing for helping people out. Hell, I created a web site and use MY OWN MONEY to try to help people out beyond the forum. That is because I love GameEx so much, and I truly think it's an ingenious FE as well as an intuitive piece of software.

Frankly, I'm a little more than fed up with the kiddie BS insults you throw at us. We're mostly grown-ups here, and I for one don't talk to people like that under any circumstance... Especially when hiding behind the internet. As I recall, Ling was frustrated too when he first started out, but he's NEVER said anything as abusive or arrogant to me, or any of us for that matter. Now he's a seasoned pro and he donates his time to help people troubleshoot their problems. We all get frustrated but really... This is absolutely uncalled for.

OHHHHH 15 VIEWS AND NO HELP!!!!! WOW I'AM GLAD I PAIDED FOR GAMEEX SOFTWARE!
Tom doesn't charge for the software... It's a donation. If you honestly thought paying the meager $25 for the software would make your inability to set it up go away, you're crazy.

Bottom line: Act like a kid be treated like a kid. Good luck with setting up GameEx. I've responded to ALL your posts, even when they're prematurely (and repeatedly) bumped. My own WIFE doesn't talk to me like that. I'd hate to be sitting on your karma pal.

PS - If you have a problem, I can understand a bump if it sat there for a few days. But 2 1/2 hours? WTF?

but my other are setting there for days not getting answered, and i understand there are other people that need help, but i'am the kind of person that wants to get the problem resovled in a day or two or maybe three is that to much to ask for?

Thanks for your help really! Now for why a saturn mount doesnt to play or the emu doesnt even bother to see the virtual drive is beyond me, but the only way i can get a saturn game to run is burn the cd then phiscally put it in my drive then the emu sff will see it, anyone that can help me out before next week, no really, please let me know...and if you can please let me knoe also thanks!

Yeah and I've seen some of your other posts...one where after a few people put in a lot of effort you got bent out of shape because some one wasn't right there to help you so you deleted the whole set.

You want things done in 1-3 days...and exactly who doesn't?

Wanting to get stuff done in short order isn't a problem...its when its demanded that it becomes a problem...and most certainly when the help you recieve is FREE.

You want pro help and service...fine...send me cash for $50 an hour USA, four hour base fee...and at that point we'll do biz...and frankly thats a bargin for IT.

Short of that kiss my ass after your bullshit.

So in short because of your drama...it'll run you $200 for some thing you could have other wise had FREE.

OHHHHH 15 VIEWS AND NO HELP!!!!! WOW I'AM GLAD I PAIDED FOR GAMEEX SOFTWARE!

first of you paided for the GameEx frontend NOT for us to set it up for you

what we try to here are help as much as we can if we have an answer we will try to help again using our own spare time ...

The people there helps and try to help are again its the minor numbers of who are registed on the forum there have the knowledge to all the problems people encounter and many there had a problem in the past we never hear from again what afcouse are good (becouse we solved the problem) and bad (becouse they might could have helped others in the future) :)

what you and other users can do when hitting a problem are a few things :

search the forum there are others there had problems with SSF and there is alot of treads about it ..

be pataince if you look over what people really do for each other you would be supprised many makes themes for all to enjoy sites to make it easier for others to get the infomations/data they need and configs/pluings/urls to share to others....

those things can take huge amount of a person spare time and something there takes other 10-30 sec. to download or use

last the wrong way is to be rude when none here are earning a penny from the time he/she uses we do it for the Emulation passion and good will so yes there is something wrong with and bad attitude no matter the reason

we try as good as we can to help all IF we have the answer or time...
