Hello (the french guy returned),

So i was wondering about a new feature. I love watching mame record using Wolf90 (a custom mame version), it helps me to improve myself.

But here is the problem, i haven't the found the way to launch a recorded play game with gameex using the Wolf90 emulator.

Do you have any suggestion or gameex improvments ???

Best regards ;0)

Hey, welcome back :)

To be honest I really have no idea what you are talking about.

Perhaps you or someone can enlighten me with more detail and perhaps some links also about what this is all about.

Ok ok i'm sorry ;0)

So if you use Wolf90 (a custom mame) you will be able to record yourself playing arcade game. You will obtain an .inp file, which contains all the keys that you have pressed during the game.

If you wanna play this record in Wolf90,

-you have to select the game in the list,

-then click on file in the menu and play input for this game,

-a window appears in order to select the .inp file

With the configuration of gameex at this time, it is not possible to start playing an .inf because like i said we need to do severals steps. It is different than starting a game with an emulator.

I hope you'll understand.

You can record your games using all mame versions, not only wolfmame. Unfortunately, the recordings are version specific. So if you record a game using mame 0.59 and then try to replay it using 0.62, there's a big chance that the driver or rom since then has been altered, and the playback won't work as planned.

I was going to suggest myself that it would be cool to use .inp files for attract mode, but that would interfere with the coin-in during attract mode option, and would probably be too much work for nothing.
