As the topic says. What window/windows are effected? Is this only supported in windowed mode?

This is the GameEx window/application. When this setting is enabled, it displays a little icon/image in the top right corner with Version 1 themes and clicking it (with mouse) will switch GameEx between windowed and full screen. So its not just windowed mode. Its like Restore/Maximize. The effect is same as hitting ALT - ENTER in most full screen apps such as GameEx.
