Crash after Nag Scree

Hi,

I just downloaded GameEx.

The first time I ran it it took me through the config Wizard

Now when I try and launch it and it crashes after the nag screen back to windows..

What can I do ?

I have not got it to work once yet

Hi,

Do you get a "handled" error screen with a log? if so take a look at that, and if it does not explain the problem post it here.

If you get some kind of "unhandled" error screen please give detail.

Isn't that what happens if you haven't set your MAME path properly? The crash after the nag screen was my 1st obstacle way back and I believe I had pointed GameEx to a folder for MAME artwork that didn't exist on the HD.

Hey loadman, Tom offered you a free registered version of GameEx, so you shouldn't get the nag screen.

You need to provide a bit more detail, posting the log file will help.

GameEx will not run unless all your emulator folders are setup right, so the log should tell you which paths are incorrect. Also there is a Verify Setup page at the end of the Setup Wizard that you can run that will verify your ROM paths are correct.

This is just a simple case of 'READING THE F&*&iNG SCREEN'

I saw the nag screen and just hit option 1 or 2 rather than wait .. D'oh!

I have my key so I don't get the nag screen now in any case

I like what I see so far very much.

As you know I am a MaLa FE freak so I won't use this on my cab

But a...... after using this I will now load in on my Jukebox and expand it a bit so it can play DVD's as well
