For some reason, when I go to view a media file, the hidden folders are displayed with the normal ones. for instance:

/$RECYCLED

/Futurama

/Simpsons, The

/SYSTEM VOLUME INFORMATION

I made sure that Windows doesn't have the hidden folders/file setting on and I looked all over the GameEx config as well for a setting that would fix this. I never noticed this problem before so I don't know what it is all about.

Sounds like maybe somehow windows no more thinks these folders are system folders. Did you move a HDD, or reinstall the os. One way to fix would just be to move your media folders outside the root of the drive. $recycled and voulme.. should only exist in the root.

I should have thought of that! It worked like a charm!
