GameEx wont start... help!

hi i'm trying to set up GameEx... so far i'm just trying to do a simple setup just to see what its like... but while it says Loading GameEx, it freezes... then i ctrl alt del... and end task... get back to the desktop but there is mame with a help screen... so i go in and look at the log... and the last thing that it has done is run mame32.exe - help ... why?

Probably because your using an unnoficial or old version of mame32.
