Help!: Alpha Olive, Red and Blue themes crashing GameEX

I hope Im not the only one having this problem, but I cant seem to find any reference to this in the forum.

Ive been using the Alpha Blue theme for a while (great theme), however since upgrading to the latest version of GameEx (7.09) its started crashing on me. Whenever I select a menu item on the left side bar (ie Sort by name, Playlist/More, etc) GameEX exits with the errors shown below. Its the same for all the Alpha themes (Olive, Blue and Red).

Id appreciate any ideas, because Im stumped. All the other themes seem to be working fine, so Im at a loss to explain why this on no longer works properly.

Cheers,

Wookierama

Hi Wookierama,

Im not sure why they are crashing, i'll update my version of gameex, so i can have a look for you. Is anyone else having this problem?

Ok there's definately a problem,

I thought it might have had something to do with the theme layout, so i tried replacing the alpha's layout with the default one from the 'Custom V2 Default 800x600'. Still no joy  GameEx still crashes when one of the menu buttons is pressed.

I think there might be a bug.

Tom, would you mind having a look?

Thanks for looking into it Amos, glad its not just me. Hopefully Tom will be able to shed some light on whats causing this.

My 2 cents:

I got the exact same problem trying to run Amos82's theme (made for higher resolution 1024...) into 800*600 or 640*480 screen resolution

I don't think only Amos82's theme are concerned, but as they are my preference... I can only report issue with them.
