2 player games

Anyone know if it is possible for both joysticks to work with 2 player mame games like Pacman.

I change the settings in the game (Tab key) for the second player to use the second joystick. It configures fine there but in the game it still only works with joystick 1.

I,m pretty sure that most of your older mame games like pacman,galaga,galaxian,wonderboy,ghosties,etc,etc,etc, will only allow that player ones joystick be used even if playing a two player game so that you both have to alternate when playing.The only excepting being that if you are playing those games on a cocktail cabinet the games allow using both the joysticks as you are facing each other.

Just configure player 1 to also use player 2's keys. Mame allows for more then just 1 input per button or joystick press.
