LCD Smartie Problem

Hi,

I am a registered GameEx user and recently tried installing LCD Smartie and the GameEx plug-in.

My problem is that only functions 1,0 (GameEx running) and 2,1 ("GameEx" display) appear to be working. If I try to use any other function (e.g., 2,2, 2,3, etc.) the corresponding display line of LC Smartie displays blank. I have tried versions 5.3.2 and 5.4B3 of LCD Smartie with the same result.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

Im not too sure, but ill check it out when I can with those versions. Its possible its something I broke in the latest version of GameEx (got a feeling) (are you using the latest version of GX?). If it is ill fix it for the next release.

Tom, I was using v7.09 of GameEx. Thanks for looking into the problem. I think it would be really neat to embed an LCD display in my arcade machine which displays the controls for the current game.

There is also the new LCD/LED Plugin for GameEx I'm working on that supports some LCD displays. But not much of that has been tested yet. You can read more about it here.

Still seems to work fine for me. Tested with 5.3.2. Can you post a screenie of your smartie config?
