[RESOLVED] Windows defender quarantines setup - solved

I solved this one by making sure windows defender was updated. It's been a while since I've had the machine on so the AV wasn't up to date.  Apologies for posting but maybe it'll help someone else down the line.

Windows Defender has deemed the installer a trojan. I've never had issues with gameex updates before but treat anything like this seriously. I'm on Windows 10.

I searched the forum for an answer and saw something similar posted by out a year ago by peterson65. Please provide an update whether this is a false positive or not.

I had noticed defender doing a few cloud scans on my files recently. Nothing detected though. As you can see once definitions are up to date nothing found

If something is detected up to date I can submit it to Microsoft.

Actually its doing if for me right now, as soon as gameex.exe is obsufascated during my build.

I think im up to date on definitions.

Okay, i submitted files to Microsoft and got them cleared.

The current install is definitly good now with latest definitions.

Im checking if I still have problems with new builds and will keep at it if I need to but you know how it is talking to robots!

All looks good to me now.

Defender is still doing a cloud scan on a few files but nothing coming back now.
