I´ve got no sound when playing a DVD. I set Use ffdshow to true and it´s installed on my system , but i got no sound. I only got sound , when playing DVD´s with AC3-sound. Other soundstandards like PCM or m2v doesn´t work. I use Power DVD 5 and use it as mpeg2 Decoder. When I start Power DVD alone , I have sound when playing these DVD´s.And plying SVCD´s works with Power DVD fine , but GameEx doesn´t work. I guess I should install the CDXA Reader?

There is bugs in FFDSHOW AC3 with the current build available on SourceForge, When I run it I get severly distorted and very quite sound.

You just need to get a newer version of FFDSHOW. Look at the daily builds on the web site. You could also try disabling AC3 in FFDSHOW. As I said its buggy with old versions.

i have no idea what your trying to do with a CXDA reader! I think barking up wrong tree there. :blink:
