Disabling Button Presses In Attract Mode?

where in the setup wizard can i disable arcade buttons while in attract mode but still push the buttons to change the song? i used to be able to do that..

Maybe this got broken. Do you have all your controls setup properly?

yessir i do.  if i  press any button except s and d (Select and back) when in attract mode it goes back to the main menu. i wanted to make it where i couldnt do anything unless i either pressed escape or the select or back button. and maybe change the songs
