MAME Games not showing up in the list

I've tried several times to change settings in the config program that came with GameEx, it looks like an awesome frontend, but I just can't figure out what's up. I set the directories like the program asked and I put the emulator in C:/Emulators/Mame32 and roms in C:/Emulators/Mame32/Roms

Then I went into the GameEx program and did the list update thing to scan for the games and only Altered Beast will show up, I have around 80 roms in this folder that work fine in Mame32 so why don't they come out on the GameEx program when I update the list?

I'm sorry, i'm not that much of a newbie but i'm really confused sometimes with frontends like this.

I set all the directories correct so what else could be the problem?

Try this:

Go into advanced MAME configuration. Turn off verify roms then turn on only existing. Then Update the list again.
