PinballX v5.39 x64 - VPinballX.exe not launching

I was running PinballX - Version 4.34 x64, and I just installed the latest v5.39 x64 of PinballX. When I select a game it shows the loading video and then immediately goes back to the table selection screen. I rebooted, checked logs, and verified configurations. What could be causing VPinballX.exe from launching with this new version? I installed over the old version.

I changed the relative paths (which worked fine in the older version) to direct paths and VPinballX launches. If I change them back to relative it fails. Is there a way to get back the relative paths?

 

I'm running in desktop mode on my PC.

No need. I got it working except for the relative paths. Seems the long loading times are an issue with VPX. Is there any way to use relative paths with this new version?

Why do you need relative paths and hard for me to know what your doing without the files and why are you sure it is an issue with VPX?
